The verbs
dar and
ver are irregular in the preterite and both have the same endings, which rhyme with those of the verbs
ir and
ser. Also, notice that these verbs share the endings of the regular –er and –ir verbs in the preterite (comer: comí, comiste, comió, comimos, comisteis, comieron; vivir: viví, viviste, vivió, vivimos, vivisteis, vivieron) with the exception that dar, ver, ser, and, ir do not require accents. Refer to Episode 8 for the conjugations of ir and ver, if necessary. Remember they both have the exact same forms in the preterite.
