La expresión de esta semana "quedarse frito" es una expresión coloquial que se utiliza para describir que una persona está tan cansada o tiene tanto sueño que se queda dormida involuntariamente y de una forma inmediata y fulminante.

No se debe confundir esta expresión con "estar frito", otra expresión coloquial que significa "estar muerto".

Una expresión equivalente en inglés sería "to doze off","to be fast asleep" o "to knock out".

Ejemplo 1:

Me pasé toda la noche estudiando para un examen y no dormí nada. Al llegar a la universidad, tan pronto como el profesor me dio el examen, me quedé frita y no pude hacer el examen.
I spent the whole night studying for a test and didn't sleep at all. When I got to school, as soon as the professor handed out the exams, I knocked out and I couldn't take the test.
